Usually, you can find salmonella in eggs, poultry, and products made from animals. This bacterium has a spiral shape and lives in cows or chickens. Conditions can become more severe if experienced by the elderly and people with chronic diseases.

Campylobacter is commonly found in raw milk, undercooked poultry, and contaminated drinking water. Campylobacter is capable of causing diarrhea, dizziness, abdominal pain, fever for 2-5 days, to blood when vomiting.

Enterohaemorrhagic Escherichia coli lives in the organs of animals such as cattle, goats, and sheep. Enterohaemorrhagic Escherichia coli is also commonly found in unpasteurized milk (the process of heating food to kill harmful organisms), undercooked meat, vegetables, and fruits.

2. Listeria

Listeria can cause miscarriage in pregnant women. You can find Listeria food bacteria in unpasteurized (heated) milk or products, and you can also find it in foods that are not ready to eat. Listeria can live in refrigerator temperatures, so it’s essential to clean and cook food properly before eating.

People infected with Listeria may show fever, chills, headache, abdominal discomfort, and vomiting. Symptoms that get worse can lead to potential death.

3. Vibrio Cholerae

Vibrio Cholerae can cause infection through food or drinking water. Symptoms that it may cause are abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea that is very liquid, so it can cause acute dehydration and death. You can find the cholera epidemic bacteria in rice, vegetables, and seafood. One way to avoid this is to eat clean food and cook until it is fully cooked.

Maybe some people think that half-cooked food is quite delicious. However, it is dangerous if bacteria contaminate the food. Don’t forget to wash them thoroughly in running water regarding vegetable and fruit products. You can add anti-bacterial ingredients to be more hygienic and avoid the possibility of infection.
